ALT+F2 (Run command) takes ages to write a program name

The problem is NOT the dialog window, it appears instantly to me too.
The problem is the input box that is *frozen* while the HD is rotating heavily.

And so? How can I do to improve the responsivess?

Caching is useless in the first time.
