Same here - 866 PIII and 512MB RAM. If I've got a few things running
the cube tends to stutter a bit.
I've also got herd 5 running on a 700MHz Celeron and 384MB Ram with
Intel 810i built in graphics and the eye candy wasn't installed when I
installed Feisty and I don't want it any way. I normally run Xubuntu
6.06 LTS on this machine but feisty doesn't appear to be that much slower.
Having tried feisty on a dual core beasty with loads of ram and a 256MB
graphics card I have say Beryl is quite good fun, but of no great help
in the day-today running of the machine.
