Uhh, the home network router is DHCP server and assigns them all.  The 
Office router is also DHCP server but only assigns a few, user laptops 
and the one MAC user who didn't care about getting scans.  Since he 
didn't care, I didn't bother setting him up.

Printers being unavailable when you first try to print to them, but when 
you check "properties" they show up.  I've attributed it to leases 
expiring.  Same w/ large file transfers crapping out in the middle.  
Neither problem is repeatable intentionally, and when it does repeat is 
completely unexpected.  This is unacceptable behavior for a work 
environment.  But at home, since it's fairly rare, it's just a PITA.

(eg. if the file tx was a backup or a company deliverable, then that's 
bad, but at home I'm basically talking TIVO . . .)
