That may have been the case a few years ago when the MP3 decoder was a
dedicated chip. But I think most modern MP3 players, especially around the
$100-$200 price range, include many different formats, all of which are
software decoded and the hardware is more than adequate to handle Ogg as well.
I mean, c'mon, most in that price range play *video* too. :)
