Live CD/Partitioning ?

Thanks for the info, Tim. I don't have cd burning
capabilities.  Someone, in an earlier post suggested
giving my mailing address and someone may send an
alternate(Feisty) cd to me.  Many thanks if they do!

Not sure what you are saying here.  Maybe like /,
swap, home or hda1, hda2, hda3 or starting sector
locations or something else?

Ok, here I'm still not sure if I can make the #HOME,
an extended partition, into a primary partition. I
could live with it as an extended but would be nice as
a primary.  It seems that I could convert the current
/, usr, var parts into one larger / part, then copy
the $HOME from the extended part to the new / part. 
Then delete the extended part and merge it with the
new larger / partition.  Would that be possible?  I've
googled a lot on this(converting extended to primary),
read all the stuff at sourceforge but didn't find the
subject covered.  A good howto would be nice.  Thanks
for your input.  I'm closer to understanding how to do
it but not quite there yet.
