Simple programming language anyone?

If you want to be able to be writing graphical programs in an hour or 
two go with Gambas.  It is very nice and extreamly easy to use, but it 
is not well used and you will find it difficult to give any software you 
create out to others.

Otherwise, I highly suggest Python.  It is the easiest to learn out of 
the well used programming languages with many options for writing GUI's.
