Simple programming language anyone?

Hi,

after Perl and Python have been suggested, may I go with the Kaiserchiefs?:
"Ruby, Ruby Rubyyyy!" ;-) It's really a nice language and rather easy to
learn... I you want to have a quick look, I suggest you try the tutorial
'Ruby in 20 minutes' (http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/documentation/quickstart/).
You therefore need to have ruby and irb (interactive ruby interpreter)
installed. You can do that by doing sudo apt-get install irb. That should
install ruby and irb and you're ready to go!
