I find it amazing that GRUB has been able to figure that out this soon
after Vista's release (as Vista's bootloader has nothing in common with
that of XP and earlier).

From everything I've read the best way to install multiple Linux distros
(that include Ubuntu) is to install Ubuntu last as Ubuntu's GRUB
installer miraculously is able to find every OS you've got installed and
configure it's menu.lst file accordingly.

I've not tried it yet myself, but OS-junkie that I am, I imagine I will
eventually.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't one only be concerned
with just *one* menu.lst file if one is booting everything from the
Master Boot Record?
