Use NTP and pool.ntp.org:
For Feisty:
- Right click on the dates time icon on the Gome task bar
- Select Adjust Date & Time
- Select Servers
- Add <servername> click 'Add' then check the server box.
[you can do this for multiple servers, so if one is down it will check
the next]
If, for example you are in the UK; in the clock server settings just add
one or more of the following:
0.uk.pool.ntp.org
1.uk.pool.ntp.org
2.uk.pool.ntp.org
3.uk.pool.ntp.org

The pool.ntp.org project is a big virtual cluster of timeservers
striving to provide reliable easy to use NTP service for millions of
clients without putting a strain on the big popular timeservers.
