Feisty: All kinds of bluetooth woes (mouse, headset)

My first problem is that I can't get Ubuntu to remember that my mouse
is paired with my computer, and I have to flail about with hidd on the
command-line every time I reboot in order to get it working.

My second problem is that when I use my bluetooth headset with Feisty,
even after I get it paired (that relationship isn't remembered either)
the sound (both input and output) are choppy and distorted sounding.
The headset works fine with my Treo.

The third problem, I'm pretty sure, is also a bluetooth thing:
hci_acldata_packet: hci0 ACL packet for unknown connection handle 11
<https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.20/+bug/110774>
I'm getting lots of these messages from the kernel.

If someone has clues about how to solve these problems, I'd be really
grateful.
