KMail Crashing Repeatedly and now Won't Open!

Hey All,

I am running KMail on Feisty.

I was sorting some messages in a Maildir format mailbox with about 30,000
messages...

I used the search filter on top to find messages with a specific subject -
and it found some 40 of them....

Then I hit the Enter key and.... having a not-so-fast box, KMail crashed on
me.

I  remembered an old trick - deleting the .idx files for the respective
folder - and so I did. Now KMail won't start at all. It crashes while
opening.

I tried deleting the /tmp files and even restarting - no luck...

Anything I can do?
