Second Hard Drive issue

Hello Everyone,

I ran into an issue that turned out to be a documented ubuntu bug, and
am trying to find a workaround.

I installed a second hard drive in an ubuntu desktop machine. I
partitioned it and copied a bunch of data to it. Then
I edited its properties to change the mount point name. I typed the
mount point /mnt/datadisk and the new name was
accepted without an error message.

However, when I tried to remount, I got the error message that the mount
point contains an illegal character (the "/").

How can I change the mount point name now. I am unable to mount the disk
and then change it in the properties..

Thanks for your help,
Oudisos.
