Blank screen after log in

Wait - you installed then nvidia driver - and X worked OK (?)
Then, uninstalled it, and now you get a blank screen...

Based on that, I don't know what the question is...

But, if you're trying to install this as a .ko, did you build the kernel
module for this driver and install it?  If so, why uninstall it?
You can add it to autoload.d, and it will install properly on boot, then
add the name you're using for it to xorg.conf, and X should be fine.
