ok well i figured out that DCC is not compatible with getty. Rather im 
using Hyperterminal now and its atleast connecting.

ok, but theres another problem. When i get to the login screen, it asks 
me for my login, so i type in the username that i use to log into my 
server machine (maybe i shouldnt use that one?) and it says:

No utmp entry. You must exec "login" from the lowest level "sh"

what do i do?
