See if any jobs are lined up
System => printers
If they are, clear them and try again.

There are two print jobs and I did clear them but when I tried to print
again, nothing. The printer doesn't even get the print job as in its not
even spinning up.

So I uninstalled and then reinstalled it. Postscript is the default
driver so I tried another one: hpijs. No luck. I did notice that the
default paper was A4 so I changed that to letter.
Ok. I just noticed my firewall recorded this event:
Port
32775 192.168.0.2 UDP Sun-RPC portmap
32777 192.168.0.2 UPD Sun-PRC portmap
each time I tried to print.
The LaserJet-4050 Properties box says: Status: REady: open print channel
failed; will retry in 30 seconds.
I turned off my firewall (I use Firestarter) and Im waiting a minute or
so to see what happens. And I got the same error message. So Im still
not talking with the printer for some reason.
