Depends on how the big mp3 file was generated: if the whole album was encoded 
into the big file, then the hardcore suggestions apply.

But if the album was encoded into several files, one per track, then wrapped 
into one big file (aka albumwrap), you may simply split the files with 
mp3splt (in universe).
