None of the other settings seem related to connection.

$ sudo ln -s /dev/ttyUSB1 /dev/pilot
ln: creating symbolic link `/dev/pilot' to `/dev/ttyUSB1': File exists

J-Pilot mailing list, as it seems to be fairly certain to be a J-Pilot

Can I roll back to a previous version of J-Pilot maybe?
