Kubuntu fresh install by booting from usb - Crashes

If at boot: I don't press enter and let it time out, a
message, which I omitted below, appears:

"BusyBox v1.1.3 (Debian 1:1.1.3-2ubuntu3) Built-in
shell (ash) 
Enter 'help' for list of built-in commands.

/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
(initramfs) "

I'm unsure what to do at this point.  Any help will be
appreciated.
