Nobody told me it wouldn't work before! :-)

I'm not running my laptop now, my I DO have my static IP wireless working 
perfectly!!!

The only thing I couldn't manage so far is the MAC filter on the router.

I got WEP only on the router.

I got this setup working using gnone apps, under System > Adminstration > 
Networking, and nothing more.

But indeed there is ONE gnome apps which almost got me crazy!

This app would 'clean' the IP, DNS and other settings every boot!

Can't remenber the name of this PIN (Pain In the Neck) program.

If you need I can look it up on my previous postings!

Just tell me what "config files" you need and I will send to you.

In time, my laptop is a Toshiba Satellite M70 - S300.
