I have Ver. Dapper Dan and want to upgrade to Ver. 6.10.mI have burned
the .iso but want to upgrade instead of installing the 6.10. (I want to
preserve my files and documents)
Whenever I try to upgrade the single files shown in "upgrade-manager -c" all
is well and they are installed. When I click the button to upgrade he 6.10
nothing happens. when I click on the url shown in the release notes text I
get the following error.

There was an error setting up interprocess communications for KDE. The message
returned by the system was:
Could not read network connection list
/root/.DCOPserver_dick-desktop_0
Please check that .DCOPserver is running.

Any help is appreciated as I really want to do the upgrade.
