dns/nameserver gone!

Every time I boot my laptop, the DNS/nameserver just disappear!

Ubuntu 606 LTS on a Toshiba M70-S300.

I have to enter then again to the Internet access!

How can I prevent that?

The /etc/resolv.conf says: "DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND ...!

This "feature" has started after some networking progs!
(don't know which could cause this!)
