If the text in the document is requested to rendered in those fonts, do you
actually have those fonts installed? I know they are heavily used under
Windows but do you actually have them installed in your OS? If not, the
borwsers will attempt to make choices on substitue fonts and it looks to me
like the two browsers have elected to go for differing fonts.
Of course, if you actually have Tahoma and Verdana they should be used.
