Hi, Jeremy!

To select the proper Java VM, run: sudo update-java-alternatives -l

Then pick the one you want (java-1.5.0-sun) and run: sudo 
update-java-alternatives -s java-1.5.0-sun

To verify that you are indeed running that version, then, just run : 
java -version

That should confirm that you are now running 1.5.0_XXX
