Hi,
i migrated from SusE to Kubuntu, and since then, i'm having network
problems and i'm not being able to solve.
After configuring networks cards (wired and wireless), it takes a long
time after each boot until dhclient3 discovers the address, and it only
does for eth0 (wired).
For eth1 (wireless) to work, i need to manually run kwifi and activate
it, and run /etc/init.d/networking restart.
I renamed eth1 to wlan0 at /etc/udev/rules.d, but it did not change.
I removed whereami, and did not help.
Does someone knows how to solve it, in order that after booting the
system, the wireless network can automatically gets up and connects to
my access point (using dhcp)?
TIA,
Paulo Wollny
