Hi James
That depentds on how you install windows. If told to take the entire drive the
ubuntu will be completely wiped. If told to go for a certain empty partition
it has a nasty habit of wiping the grub loader and replacing it with its own.
In the later case you can reinstall just the grub loader and get dual booting
back
