Agreed.  And this is _not_ a sounder topic - it _is_ about Ubuntu support
(admittedly, with the aim of keeping it as untechnical as possible).

I completely agree.  If my mother had been in easier reach, I'd have put
Ubuntu on the system I gave her.  As it is, she gets most of her technical
support from a tech-savvy friend and from a local computer shop.

Now getting my _wife_ on Ubuntu is more difficult...
