Hi JD,
Once again thanks for your efforts !
Ubuntu 7.10 installed like a charm on my notebook,
what I cannot tell from earlier releases !?
Generally I prefer LTS versions and am not keen to change and play every
6 months again and again with some struggles !!!
On another notebook I may go for a test as you suggested but preferable
6.06 ?!?
>From there I may experience an upgrade to 7.04 without risks of loosing
important data ;-)
