How do we get out / rid of initramfs ???

Once again thanks for your assistance !

We DID Clean/Fresh installations of Ubuntu 7.10 near a dozen times
already ;-)

I am out of idea/s too ...
... since all I know doesn't bring a reasonable result ;-(
