apt-get failing upgrade on brand new install

Fresh install. As soon as the system was up. It downloaded almost 200
MB of updates, and got stuck on the ones that you saw. The output that
you saw was from retrying after rebooting the system.

I haven't touched it. I'll post it Sunday, when I get back to that machine.
