Hi Neils

I have a similar card and had to use the enny script to install the nvidia 
driver. You'll likely need to uninstall the current one before using envy 
though. You can find it at

If by chance this one works for you, you may well have to edit 
your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file to get resolutions greater than 1024x768
