setting up beryl

ok (i dont know if this program is open-source or not) im using the 
catalyst control center. I cant get any openGL accelleration out of it, 
but when im using it, i can get beryl to atleast load. but im stuck with 
no window boarders

is there a better program then teh catalyst control center that i could use?
