Nice link.

I followed these instructions to the letter, but when I start
beryl-manager (step 7) I see these two messages:

Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".

If I press on regardless and try starting the Beryl window manager, I
get that plus a few more messages, after various tests are passed:

Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".

I am using the radeon driver. I DO have the DRI section in xorg.conf,
and I DO have dri, vbe and glx loaded. I had GLcore loaded as well;
tried removing it, all that did was stop fgl_glxgears from working.

What is different - and I suppose could be a problem - is that I have a
dual monitor set-up. That might explain why so many of those messages
appear twice :-)

I'll try reverting to a single-monitor setup, but is there anything else
I should be trying?

Sadly, not yet :-(

Regards, K.

It would be cool to have beryl on two monitors.....
