Here is what is suggest. Start kino from a command terminal using the
command:
$> kino &
Then do your operations on your video to produce the mpeg. When all the
operations are being done, you may see some messages output in the
terminal from which you started kino. Look at those messages carefully
and see what the resulting files being produced (when is the video being
encoded, when is the audio being encoded, when is the multiplexing being
done, etc.).
After the above process finished, also see which are the most recent
files that were produced:
$> ls -altr
List the above observations here.
