Projector and resolution (HP vp6300, Dell Lat. D505, Feisty)

Well, now I have tried this and it does not work. The attached image
shows the desktop as it is on the projector with 1024x768 resolution.
800x600 works correctly. I have added this to xorg.conf to clone the
local display to VGA-out:

Option	"MonitorLayout"	"CRT,LFP"
Option 	"Clone"	"true"
Option	"DevicePresence" "true"

Any suggestions are welcome,
