Feisty upgrade

I have two questions:

1. I am using the Official upgrade method, but the upgrade fails. I
receive many errors like the following:

Failed to fetch
http://buckhill/apt-cacher/us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/o/openldap2/libldap2_2.1.30-13.3_i386.deb
Size mismatch

and

Failed to fetch
http://buckhill/apt-cacher/us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/p/python2.4/python2.4-minimal_2.4.4-2ubuntu7_i386.deb
MD5Sum mismatch

I cold be wrong but this looks like a repository problem. If it isn't,
what am I doing wrong? If it is, when are the repositories going to be
fixed?

2. My second question is about the inability to simply point the
sources.list to new repositories (edgy to feisty) and do the standard,
debian update. This worked recently on debian, without any pain, through
the same apt-cacher archive.
