Thunderbird 2 in repositories

I'm not an expert in compiling and debugging, but as I did not find 
binaries for AMD64 I tried to compile it myself and that went very well. 
But if the binary is for your platform than you are probably in the 
wrong forum any you should post it in the mozilla/thunderbird forum.
