Projector and resolution (HP vp6300, Dell Lat. D505, Feisty)

Hello,

I have adjusted feisty to clone the LCD to the VGA out. It works well
but I have problems with the resolution .The Projector supports
1024x768, but if I use that resolution parts of the desktop dissapears
(everyting to the right of the battery status icon on a standard Feisty
desktop.) 800x600 works well.

Any suggestions?
