I have to say that I have my doubts. I have slowly found various things that
don't work correctly. The other poster (Shawn) asks if you have installed a
bunch of extras from external repositories. In my case I suppose I have, but
I don't see why any of those extras would cause the kind  of problems I am
seeing. I ran Debian sid (ie. the unstable, cutting edge version) for years
and didn't see very many problems caused by similar external software.

Some of the issues I have had:

on a fresh boot there is no window manager (even with a correct entry in
.xinitrc)
desktop effects doesn't work at all
if I enable desktop effects I loose the window manager until it is disabled
mplayer no longer plays half of my files
I have had issues getting one hard drive to mount correctly - says the
filesystem is incorrect, when I know it is not.
... etc.

Overal I think it is a pretty good release and I am sure that the rough
edges will be shorted out soon, but not really prime-time ready yet.
