No Window manager after Feisty upgrade

I have the same bug. It is due to a crash of metacity when shutting down
(that is what I concluded after finding a crash report of metacity and a
bug-report which says the problem is solved after removing
~/.gnome2/session)

So I'm absolutely not sure if it's due to compiz (I don't have beryl - but
everyone who's running feisty has compiz installed!)
