Still getting messages at old address

Yes, every now and then, some old messages are stuck in a queue
somewhere, and see the light of day after a few days or even weeks. 
However, even if these messages were very old and 
dated prior to your e-mail address change, I don't see what technical
reason could be convincing enough to explain that these messages, or
any message, were sent to your old address ! I would definitely file a
bug against the list server then... not sure where I would go to file a
bug against it though ?! Maybe somewhere in launchpad.
