How can I fix this?

GParted has a few issues.
1) When resizing a partition, there is no feedback
for the user indicating progress, All that is shown
is the statusbar bouncing rapidly from side to side.
The only thing this can possibly indicate is that
the program has not completely locked up. What is
needed is more progress info like a text box showing
the activities being performed and how much progress
has been made for the current task.
2) Why is the GParted debugging output saved as HTML?
I think it should be in plain text, so that if there are problems
with the process, new users will be able to easily report
problems/bugs.
