Thunderbird lost mail with dapper

Sorry seems i have missed the first part of this thread.
What are trying to do?

If you start TB with sudo (bad, bad, baaad boy : ) then it is possible
that differnt files in your profile now have root rights.

$ sudo chown -R USER: .mozilla-thunderbird/

Where USER is your Username. This should solve that.

Aprat from that i never had problems with moving my TB profile to
another machine, or an other useraccount.

This is just _my most loved feature_ about TB and FF. :)
