Printing web pages (properly!)... is it possible at all ??.....

What you are seeing is actually Wikipedia putting in the extra work to
make a stylesheet for print. This stylesheet hides the menus (since they
are no use on paper), changes the fonts to serif fonts (since they are
more readable on paper), and reflows the page after these changes are
done. What you are left with is a document more suited for print.
If what you want is to print exactly what you see on screen for
documentation purposes or something like that, take a screenshot and
print that.
Most webpages will not have separate print stylesheets. Some might have
a "Printer friendly version", that you must open before printing it.
