The in-kernel driver for NTFS file system support is only 'safe' to use
for reading. Write support is considered dangerous and might cause data
lost/corruption.

It's much safer to access your ext3 Linux partition from Windows to
share data between your OS installations.

If however you insist on full read/write support under Ubuntu Linux
