USB mouse not working after install

Does Dapper detect the mouse OK?
Did the mouse work during the install/from the live CD?
Did the mouse work properly on previous Ubuntu installs?
Are you using a KVM/hub - if yes, does the mouse work when plugged in
directly to the computer?
