System slowdown playing embedded video

Yes, there is a progress bar with a button to play or pause.  But, when 
the video is done, the play button is shaded and unusable. 

Yes, I guess I jumped to assumptions, and on trying other sites, flash 
seems to work better.  So, that site is harder to handle than others.
