gphoto2 version upgrade

What I had to do to get the latest libgphoto working was to 'apt-get
remove' the gphoto2/libgphoto2 dependencies and compile the new
versions from source. From there, you'll have to 'apt-get install' the
older libraries over. I found that gtkam takes the newer version of
libgphoto, so installing an older version over doesn't affect what
libraries are being used, but makes apt/Synaptic happy by thinking it
has the latest version.
