I'm a brand new user to Ubuntu (formerly Mandriva user) and during install, Ubuntu 606 identified and configured my HP psc 1350 perfectly!
Everything is amazing and working!
Including HPLIP Tollbox! (levels of ink and much much more!)
So I do not understand why your printer is not working fully!
I haven't done a thing regarding to this printer.
After reading your msg I was curious about the multi card reader, and tested them!
Again, they are all working.
Scanning and printing is a regular job to me!
This hp-psc1350 was a blessing to me!
If I can help on something, please, let me know!
