Have you tried, or used minicom for linux...???
Here can can set what you want, 'ttyS0' "com port 1" is and so on...
Also when you have the port setup like you want don't for get to save
it, for com 1 save it as ttyS0....Then when you want to start minicom
back up for what ever com port you want, use the command minicom
ttyS0,ttyS1, ttyS2 ttyS, etc., it will bring up that com port and how
you have it configured...
