Lets take the problems one at a time. First, don't post to the list in
HTML. If you don't know what that means, then tell me what email
client you use and I'll show you how to disable it.
What version of Firefox are you using? Should I assume that it is 1.5
by your mentioning pre-1.5 usage? You might want to upgrade to the
latest 1.5.0.7, which is a bugfix over 1.5. Or, if your extensions
have been properly updated, you could try version 2.0. Upgrade to
either of these, try them, and report back.
